Frequently Asked Questions

How does your website work?

Craft Classes Online (CCO) is the advertising hub for several Creative Arts Instructors, providing students with the best choice in online craft workshops.

All workshops we offer currently are listed on Shirley Pando's or Jeri Parks' CourseCraft profile page. You can also find all the workshops listed by category on the CCO Course Categories page. New workshops are being added on a continual basis, so make sure to check back regularly and sign up for our newsletter. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about workshops past, present, or future at CraftClassesOnline@gmail.com.

Explain how do the classes work.

What types of course materials are available in the workshops
?

The classroom materials usually include video and/or slideshow presentations and printable/downloadable PDF tutorials, as well as forums and photo gallery. All of the pertinent details of the workshop are listed on the course description page on our website and the specific course page at CourseCraft.net. If you have any questions about a specific course or instructor, please contact the instructor directly.

How do I choose and enroll in a course?

Browse courses via the "Course Categories" or "CCO Instructors" button in the navigation bar, above.  Choose the desired course and then you can view the course photo, description and details on the Course Description page. Click the button to purchase the course. If this is your first time purchasing a course that is housed on CourseCraft.net, you will need to create a user account at that site, which is very easy! Once you have purchased the course, you will receive an email with a link to enter the workshop classroom. If you have any questions about a specific course or instructor, please contact us at CraftClassesOnline@gmail.com.

Do I need a PayPal account to pay for a course?

No, the instructors use Paypal to process the payments. Choose your course from the course description page. You will be brought to the course page at CourseCraft.net. When you click on the PayPal button you will see two payment options. One to pay via your Paypal account and a second option to pay via credit card. Choose which one you would prefer to use.

Do I have to be online when the course begins?

No, once you have registered for a course, you are free to enter the classroom whenever you want on your schedule. Take as long as you need during the specified duration of the class.

How long do I have access to the course?

Our workshops are available and accessible for a period of at least one year, but please check the individual course description page on the CCO website for all the specific course details. If you have any questions about a specific course or instructor, please contact the instructor directly.

How do I find the course(s) I registered for?
If you registered for a course before June 2015, your courses are listed on your Google Sites page. If you registered for a course in June 2015 or later, your courses can be found at CourseCraft.net. Log into your CourseCraft account and you will find your courses listed on your dashboard.

I cannot view the PDF tutorials.

The following general tips that can resolve most issues:

  • Clear your cache or cookies.
  • Make sure you have the most recent update of Adobe Reader.
  • Remove any pop up blocker security for the instructor's website.

If you have followed ALL of the preceding steps and you still can't see the PDF files, please contact your instructor directly. If you are getting a specific error message, please include that in your communication so they can better assist you.

I can watch the videos in some courses, but not in others. What am I doing wrong?

You usually won't have problems with videos, but if you do, please follow these five simple steps:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime Video and/or Adobe Flash
  • Remove any pop up blocker security for the instructor's website.
  • Make sure you have the MOST RECENT version of your internet browser. We suggest that students use Firefox or Google Chrome as their web browser.
  • If you have followed ALL of the preceding steps and you still can't see the videos, please contact your instructor directly. If you are getting a specific error message, please include that in your communication so they can better assist you.
  • Please remember that your computer and internet connection also effect your ability to view video presentations. While the vast majority of students can view the course materials with little or no problems we cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to access the videos. That is why each instructor also makes the information available in PDF format.
